• The four female bosses in Guns of the Patriots comprise "The Beauty and the Beasts" unit. Each character's name references a boss from a prior Metal Gear Solid title. They all suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder due to battle experiences. The only way they were able to cope with their psychological conditions was to be transformed into war machines. Their inner appearances, based on four professional models, are referred to as "Beauty," while their outer machine appearances are referred to as "Beast." The female voice actors performed the original lines that were then overdubbed by Fred Tatasciore to create a split-voice effect.

  1. Crying Wolf:
     1. Impenetrable armor shell
     2. Lightening speed
     3. Rail gun
     4. Moves on all fours
     5. Based on model Lyndall Jarvis
     6. Laughing Octopus
     7. Outer shell functionality similar to as OctoCamo
  2. Laughing Octopus:
     1. Attacks involve mimicry and traps
     2. Based on model Scarlett Chorvat
  3. Raging Raven:
     1. Attacks with a swarm of Sliders (unmanned combat aerial vehicles)
     2. Attaches Sliders to herself to fly
     3. Based on Mieko Rye
  4. Screaming Mantis:
     1. Uses special dolls to manipulate victims in puppet-like fashion
     2. Based on Yumi Kikuchi
