Metal Gear Online Beta

The beta for the highly anticipated online game Metal Gear Online gives gamers a chance to test it early. The Metal Gear Online Beta officially starts on April 21, 2008, though there is an early beta opening starting on April 16, 2008.
In order to participate in the early beta, you need an access code, which will allow you to download the game early. When you are done downloading the beta, you will not be able to play it until April 25, 2008.

The official Metal Gear Online website states that the beta is planned for Friday, April 25, 2008.

The Metal Gear Online Beta has been delayed and Konami has not announced a new starting date yet. According to Konami, more information will be released regarding the beta on April 22, 2008. Also, due to the delay of this much anticipated beta, the ending date for the beta will be pushed back to May 11, 2008.

Metal Gear Online is part of the stealth game Guns of the Patriots and will feature 16 on 16 battles.
Metal Gear Online is a Metal Gear Solid series spinoff part of the next Metal Gear game Metal Gear Solid 4. The game was intended as stand-alone but Konami announced that it would be in fact part of Metal Gear Solid 4. Some of the main gameplay features will allow you to hack into other players' accounts, upgradable skills which can be used for close quarters combat, hacking and various other gameplay options.
