Mercyful Fate is are an influential Danish heavy metal led by vocalist King Diamond.
Career
Mercyful Fate are considered by many to be the pioneers of the Black Metal genre. King Diamond left the band in 1985 and began performing solo. In 1992, the Diamond reformed Mercyful Fate. Since the reformation the band has released four albums.
