World in Flames includes an assortment of weaponry that ranges from light to medium weapons and explosives. Light weapons range from AK-47s to Uzis to silenced pistols, while heavy weapons include rocket launchers and a boom stick.
Explosions are also a large part of the gameplay experience. Select from rocket launchers, grenades, C4 charge or air strikes for different methods of inciting detonation.

Mercenaries 2 Weapons List
- Pistol
- Clip Size: 15
- Basic automatic pistol.
- Covert Pistol
- Clip Size: 13
- Pistol equipped with a silencer for stealth. Perfect for missions in restricted zones. Silencer reduces the pistol's ammo capacity and accuracy.
- Hunting Pistol
- Clip Size: 6
- Powerful revolver with major stopping power.
- Machine Pistol
- Clip Size: 45
- Based on the MAC-10. Fires repeatedly at a high rate of speed, but inaccurate at longer distances.
- Shotgun
- Clip Size: 7
- Shotgun in a riot configuration. Wide blast radius and incredible stopping power, but poor ammo capacity and range.
- Assault Rifle
- Clip Size: 30
- Based on the AK-103. Decent accuracy, but reduced at longer ranges.
- Carbine
- Clip Size: 30
- Based on the M4-A1 Flattop. Better accuracy at longer ranges than other assault rifles.
- Automatic Rifle
- Clip Size: 75
- Based on the RPK. Larger ammo capacity than other assault rifles. Good for longer fights.
- Combat Rifle
- Clip Size: 40
- Based on the X-M8. Somewhat larger ammo capacity combined with great long-range accuracy.
- Bullpup Rifle
- Clip Size: 30
- Chinese rifle based on the QBZ-95. High rate of fire and good accuracy. Pretty much an upgraded version of the standard assault rifle.
- Covert SMG
- Clip Size: 30
- Based on the MP5W equipped with a silencer. Good for covert missions but the silencer reduces the weapon's accuracy.
- Light MG
- Clip Size: 100
- Based on the SAW. Increased ammo capacity like the automatic rifle but with 25 extra bullets to rip your opponent to shreads.
- SMG
- Clip Size: 50
- Based on the MP7. Excellent rate of fire, but poor range and accuracy. More of a "spray and pray" weapon.
- .50 cal Anti-Material Rifle
- Clip Size: 5
- Based on the Barrett .50cal sniper rifle. Capable of penetrating armor. Can be used to shoot enemies in vehicles or standing behind the shielding of mounted weapons. One-shot-one-kill kind of rifle. Two different skins, one frrom the AN supply drop and the other from the Chinese drop.
- Sniper
- Clip Size: 10
- Based on the Dragunov sniper rifle. Call up the scope by clicking the right control stick and then aim for headshots to take out enemies with a single bullet. As with the .50 cal, this one also comes in two skins from each of the two snipoer supply drops. For more stopping power, upgrade to the Anti-Materal.
- Stinger
- Clip Size: 1
- Shoulder-fired anti-air missile with heat seeking capabilities. Hold the targeting area over a target until green diamonds in the HUD signify a target lock and fire.
- AT Rocket
- Clip Size: 1
- Shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon. Point and shoot capabilities.
- Fuel-Air RPG
- Clip Size: 1
- Launcher volleys an explosive round that not only does blunt damage, but unleashes a concussive firestorm. Effective against, destroying small buildings and taking out enemy positions,
- Grenade Launcher
- Clip Size: 6
- Multishot grenade launcher lobs a grenade with a wide arc. Effective against light vehicles and personnel.
- RPG
- Clip Size: 1
- Dumbfire rocket propelled grenade. Missile tends to swerve at long distances.
