Puerto Rican boy band Menudo was one of the most popular groups in the 1980s and 1990s. They released two movies, Una Aventura Llamada Menudo and Menudo: La Pelicula. and 36 albums, most in the Spanish language.
In 2007, they had a reality television show on MTV to get the band started up again backed by manager Johnny Wright, SonyBMG, and Epic Records. The newly reformed group went on their first tour from May 2, 2008-May 26, 2008.
Eligibility
In the 1980s and 1990s, when you turn 16 as a member, you were no longer eligible for membership in the band and had to relinquish your position. This age restriction was moved to 20 years old in 2007.
