Based on a true story, Men of Honor details the experiences of Carl Brashear, the first African-American to become a Master Diver in the U.S. Navy. Plot Summary
In 1952, Carl Brashear leaves his humble Kentucky home to join the U.S. Navy and fulfill his dream of becoming a certified Master Diver. During training, Brashear must not only meet the intense physical challenges necessary to become a Navy diver, but must also overcome the racism, prejudice and military bureaucracy which threaten to hold him back.Cast
