Quality Design and engineering has ALWAYS been environmentally conscientious, energy & cost efficient. It's called "Best Practices".

- The true cost of architectural services for the average US home is only 3-6% of the entire home development cost over a 10 year period. That is a fact, not opinion.

Learn how paying for ARCHITECTURAL services actually SAVES you money. It doesn't cost a contractor $350K to build a vinyl clad, vinyl window, 2400 SF house, with asphalt shingles, wood & ceramic tile floors and a forced air heating system and granite Kitchen counters. If you actually did a detailed cost spreadsheet (including labor), you'd find out how much you overpaid. The $10K you spend with an architect, can save you from over paying $50-350K with a contractor or developer. Using an architect pays for itself many times over.

- Quality design and engineering is CHEAPER over the long-term because A) you buy the right systems & products the 1st time (life cycle costs are lower), and B) contractors know that you don't know what building materials cost. Contractors have been grossly over charging the public for 2 decades now.

- A house built for $160K but sold for $300-500K still PERFORMS LIKE A $160K house. PAYING MORE WON'T improve the performance nor the value in the long run. Housing should be valued for quality and performance, not an artificial social construct (like socio-economic definitions of "location".) If you paid $110K for a Honda Civic, when it's really worth $17-23K (new), the overpaying won't make the Honda perform like a Porsche or a Mercedes. (And Porsche & Mercedes owners won't view your $110K Honda as if it was worth $110K.)

Don't let unqualified Builders & Developers cheat you out of thousands and thousands of dollars.
Learn how an experienced Architectural (and engineering) professional can help you increase your investment values -- for commercial and residential properties.

Considering the amount of money contractors and developers have stolen from the American public the last 30 years, you CAN NOT AFFORD NOT to have professional advice from an architect or engineer.
What you DON'T know is what COSTS YOU MONEY.
