Bio: I'm a bookworm. General fiction, fantasy, a touch of mystery, history, basic sciences, simple linguistics. I'm a sucker for books of random trivia and quotes and I might be addicted to the New Yorker.
I do a lot of crafting. For sewing I make soft sculpture dolls and quilts, as well as bags made out of vintage and recycled fabrics. Lots of art/historical influences on those projects. I also do assorted styles of jewelry and metalwork. Mostly wirewrapping stones and chainmaille. I do sometimes do beaded accents and the occasional mill or torchwork, though I'm just beginning the fancier shopwork and stone setting. I like playing with digital photography, nothing fancy, just another hobby that links with my others. (I'm in search of the perfect foolproof macro for my jewelry photography.)
I'm a history buff, I dabble a little in ancient and medieval military history and quite a lot in art history. I'm fascinated by the development of language and am trying to delve more into that. Ditto with the basics of the biological sciences. (Once I hit hard maths I run away...)
