Bio: His real name is Sam Chupp. He lives in Decatur, GA with his life partner, his stepdaughter, and a ninja cat named Kiyoshi. <br /> <br /> Winner of an Origins Award in 2002 in the "Best Roleplaying Game Accessory" category for his work on the book "Gamemastering Secrets 2nd Edition," Sam got his start designing games with White Wolf Game Studio and was a principal designer on Changeling: The Dreaming and Wraith: The Oblivion. <br /> <br /> He launched his first podcast, The Bear's Grove in September of 2005, well before the explosion of new media. He now has several podcasts, including Dragonkin: the podcast for kids and roleplaying, The Square One Podcast for new roleplayers, The Bear's Grove Bardic Circle, a fantasy audiobook serial novel, Heart of the Hunter, and the podcast of a novel by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller called Fledgling.<br /> <br /> In 2007, he attended the very first PodCamp Atlanta and presented "Podcasting 101."<br /> <br /> In 2001 he transitioned from a career as an administrative assistant to a career as tech support / information technology professional.<br /> <br /> In 2000, he conducted a week-long seminar on kids and roleplaying at the prestigious Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Upstate New York.<br /> <br /> His novel, Sins of the Fathers, was published by HarperPrism in September of 1995 and was recognized as one of Sergey Brin's favorite books. He wrote the "Bone Gnawers Tribebook," "The Book of Nod" (with Andrew Greenberg) and over 40 role-playing gamebooks published by White Wolf, Holistic Design, and Steve Jackson Games.<br /> <br /> Sam lives in Atlanta with his life partner Cynthia and step-daughter Katie.
