Hi, I'm Ray Manukay a former in-house, full time guide at Mahalo.com.
I was one of the very first guides at Mahalo and was the fifth employee to ever receive the in-house "Guide of the Month". I was noted on several occasions by CEO Jason Calacanis for my exceptional work effort, efficiency, productivity and dedication in the early days. CTO Mark Jeffrey referred to me as "one of the heroes" of the early days of Mahalo.
After almost two year's with the company and when Mahalo's focus shifted to user created content, I was unfortunately deemed expendable and was laid off. I later became a part-time contract worker for the site.
I am currently a professional web content editor and social media manager.
Before working at Mahalo I was also a shift manager at Laser Blazer, a popular, independent DVD Store in West Los Angeles and a member of the Screen Actor's Guild.
Being born and raised in Los Angeles, my favorite teams, and favorite Pages that I've created are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Lakers
