Hi. I'm Ben, one of those trusty guides at Mahalo. When I'm not
helping to build up a large list of interesting search-related pages, I
like to think that I'm a pretty creative individual in a few different
ways. So what's to know?
Well, originally I
was born and raised in Manhattan, and am pretty lucky to have grown up
under the cultural center that is New York City from the get-go. I've
been a musician
for most of my life, playing piano at age 11 or 12 (something like
that) before moving on to acoustic and electric guitars. I'm also an
artist and attended the "Fame" high school (Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S.)
for visual art, which helped a lot when I went on to become an artist/writer
and art editor
for a humor magazine called The Norm at the University of
Rochester. When I wasn't drawing, I was also apparently a psychology and English major during my time
there. Probably the most expensive doodling ever...
So, I headed out to the west coast after graduation and now live
in Los Angeles, California, where I alternately nurture and repress my
love/hate relationship for this
town. In my spare time,
I still like to write creatively, sketch, play guitar and craft and
record songs.
I've also done a bit of stand-up comedy, recently, which I find to be
a very
fascinating experience. Too many interests, too
little time.
Anyway, I've really enjoyed working on a number of SeRPs, but
I have to say my Judas Priest, Indiana Jones 4, Wall-E and Cape Cod and
Charleston, SC-related SeRPs have been my favorites.
