Melody Thomas Scott

Melody Ann Thomas also known as Melody Thomas Scott was born on April 18, 1965 in Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of Southern California where she majored in music.

Acting

Melody Thomas Scott is most known for her role as Nikk Newman on The Young and the Restless. She began this role in 1979 and is still currently an active member of the cast. Her very first film role was in the Alfred Hitchcock film Marnie at the age of eight years old. Scott has also appeared in a variety of film roles in the 1970s including the Clint Eastwood film The Beguiled, Posse and The Car. In recent years she appeared in The Paradise Virus and Freezerburn.

Soap Opera Digest Award

In 2001, Melody Thomas Scott was nominated and awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for outstanding lead actress for her role in The Young and the Restless.

Melody Thomas Scott is currently married to Edward Scott, who happens to be a producer for The Young and the Restless. She was previously married to Michael Altman but they divorced in 1979. Scott and her husband currently have three daughters: Alexandra, Jennifer, and Elizabeth.
