Melissa Gilbert

Melissa Ellen Gilbert who was born May 8, 1964 in LA California is an actress, writer, and producer, in television and movies. Her most notable role and what she is best known for as Laura Ingalls on the dramatic television series Little House on the Prairie (1974–1984). She has a very long list of acting, voicework, writing, producing, and directing credits as an adult. She was also nominated and served as the President of the Screen Actors Guild for two terms.Her autobiography Prairie Tale: A Memoir was released on June 9 2009.
