• Mehmet Oz is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon at Columbia University as well as a medical researcher, author, speaker, radio and television personality and nutritional wellness consultant.

    Beginning in September 2009, Dr. Oz will host a syndicated daily television talk show produced by Harpo, Oprah Winfrey's production company. His last appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show will be on May 12, 2009.
