The blog Megan Had It Coming claims to be authored by Lori Drew, the neighbor accused of perpetrating the hoax that led to the suicide of teen Megan Meier in October of 2007. It is unclear at this time whether or not the site is legitimate.

  • Lori Drew's attorney, Jim Briscoe, has denied that Drew has any involvement with the blog. "She has not said anything on the Internet," he claims, "on any blogs, or any Internet sites."

  • Megan's mother Tina on the investigation: "I think hopefully it would make a stand. We can post that we are anybody in this world. We can say we are anybody. We can act as anybody, and it's ok. It's just absolutely ok. You can absolutely ruin somebody's lives."

  • Reporters have not been able to reach Drew to confirm or disconfirm the veracity of the blog. Suspiciously, one post did appear shortly after it was announced that the Drews could not be charged with a crime in connection with Meier's death.
