    Unlike other modern iterations of the series, Mega Man 9 was released in 2008 as an 8-bit game. The graphics resembled the first Mega Man games which appeared on the NES. In the game you navigate Mega Man through 8 different platformer levels, each with a separate boss at the end with a specific weakness.
