  On Monday September 24, 2007, an alleged sex tape featuring Meg White began appearing online. A spokesperson for the White Stripes (and most viewers) have since refuted the tape's authenticity.

• Canceled Tour

  On September 11, 2007, the White Stripes canceled their North American Tour Dates, citing Meg White's "acute anxiety" as the cause. It has been rumored that the cancellation may have been related to the sex tape incident.
