Meg Cabot

Author Meg Cabot specializes in romantic comedy novels, particularly those geared toward young adult readers. She created the Princess Diaries series of books, which has been turned into a successful film franchise by The Walt Disney Company.

Career

Meg Cabot's first big success came with the publishing of The Princess Diaries in 2001. She wente on to write for young adult, children, and junior high series. She continues to write from her home in Indiana. In 2007 author Kaavya Viswanathan was accused to plagiarizing from Princess Diaries for her book, How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life.
