Meebo is a web-based instant messaging application that supports multiple IM services, including [[Yahoo! Messenger]], Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, and Jabber. It is based on the free and open source library libpurple created by the software developers of Pidgin.
Meebo has also introduced Meebo Me, Meebo Maps, Meebo Rooms and a Firefox extension, which allow users to create their own chat rooms and integrate them with their blogs or websites.
