The software saves previous versions of a page, allowing users to see a page's history and correct a page if an error is made.

• MediaWiki Extensions

  Extensions allow for the addition of advanced features to MediaWiki. The features include embedding Flash content, adding ratings and including RSS feeds.

• MediaWiki Logo

  The flower-based MediaWiki logo was originally part of a contest to pick the logo for Wikipedia. It came in 3rd place for the contest and was chosen for use with MediaWiki instead. The flower photo in the logo was photographed by Florence Nibart-Devouard. The double brackets in the logo symbolize a common usage of the MediaWiki markup language.
