• Medeski Martin and Wood are an eclectic Jazz Funk trio who have become a fixture of the New York City Jazz and indie music scenes of the last decade. While the group's style is rooted in Jazz, the band member's virtuosic talents and their propensity for extended musical improvisations have made them a favorite on the Jam Band scene. While the band has released a number of albums on their own, they have also produced two highly acclaimed albums with Jazz guitarist John Scofield.
