Meat After Meat Joy, a group exhibition available to view between October 16 and November 15, 2008, has created a gallery of artistic pieces made using primarily meat products in their composition. On display at the Daneyal Mahmood Gallery in New York City, the meat art gallery features pieces of art made using both preserved and rotting meat. Included in the exhibition is a piece depicting the American Flag, made using rotting meat and lard, complete with live maggots.
