Plot
Charlie Baileygates (Jim Carrey) is a Rhode Island State Police trooper who is left by his wife after she cheated with a black dwarf limo driver. He feels betrayed, which causes him to have a split personality. He takes Irene (Renee Zellweger) on a vacation to Upstate New York at which point a hitman comes after her, which Charlie fights off.
