McAfee is a household Computer Software brand specialising in Antivirus software and computer security. Founded in 1987 by John McAfee the Corporate HQ is in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Yahoo Finance reported on July 30, 2009 that: "McAfee Inc" had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately owned English based "MX Logic, Inc". The deal is said to be worth an initial $140M in cash and an additional $30M if future performance targets are met.
