MBA

A Masters in Business Administration, or MBA as it is usually known, is a postgraduate degree in business and management.

The MBA degree was first introduced by Harvard Business School, and many early alumni went on to reach very senior positions in business and public life.

Today MBAs are offered by many institutions and are available for study full-time, part-time and by distance learning.

Graduates from the leading business schools are still sought after by top consulting firms and major corporations.

However the MBA degree has also been criticised as being too theoretical, and an inadequate preparation for leadership roles.
