Career
May Anderson is widely recognized for her work in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and as a spokes model for Victoria's Secret.She is also featured in promotions for Denmark tourism. She has also been featured in ad campaigns such promoting Gap,Ray Ban sunglasses and XOXO. After years being known as May Anderson, today she goes by the booking name of Lykke May due to an air rage incident in 2006.Personal Life
Lykke May Anderson was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 16, 1982. She was discovered by a photographer at the age of 13. She moved to New York City at the age of 18, and has since established herself as one of the most popular models working today. In 2000, May sued New York City for a car accident with a garbage truck where she suffered a fractured pelvis and cuts and abrasions. She won the case and reportedly received millions of dollars in compensation. Then on April 20, 2006 she was arrested in Miami for disorderly intoxication, battery and resisting arrest during a flight. After spending two days in jail she was deported to the Netherlands. She was later able to settle the case out of court. Due to the incident Elite Model Management changed her booking name to Lykke May in an attempt to distance her from the bad press.
