Professional football offensive lineman Max Starks plays in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Starks was set to become a free agent on February 27, 2009, but the Pittsburgh Steelers used their franchise tag on Starks to keep him on the team. Prior to playing in the NFL, Starks played college football with the Florida Gators in the NCAA. He played left and right tackle, as well as right guard during his senior season. After college, Starks was selected 75th overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He joined the Steelers for his professional debut that year, playing in 10 games.
