Boxing commentator Max Kellerman was the host of the The Max Kellerman Show on ESPN 1050 in New York City. On March 10, 2009, ESPN Radio announced that Kellerman's final show had been broadcast the day prior and said the end of the show was a mutual agreement. Upon the news that Kellerman was leaving ESPN, it was speculated that he may join WFAN's Mike Francesa. Francesa lost his longtime partner Chris "Mad Dog" Russo, when Russo went on his own to join Sirius satellite radio.
