    Jean-Gilles began his career playing college football with the Georgia Bulldogs. He made his college debut in 2003 and went on to help the school set a record with 44 wins over three seasons.     Following college, Jean-Gilles was selected 99th overall in the 2006 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He made his debut with the team in 2007, playing four games in place of injured right guard Shawn Andrews.
