    On September 2, 2008, Penn State University police raided the apartment that Evans shares with teammates Abe Koroma and Andrew Quarless. They reportedly found small amounts of marijuana in Evans' and Koroma's bedrooms and the two were later charged with possession.   • College Football Career

    Evans made his college football debut with the Nittany Lions in 2006, playing in all 13 games and recording 12 tackles. His statistically best season came in 2007, when he totaled 53 tackles and two forced fumbles. Evans' performance led to being a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Defensive End Award, as well as All-Big ten honors.
