Maureen Orth is a special correspondent for Vanity Fair and the widow of NBC newsman Tim Russert.
Life and Career
Orth served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Medellin, Colombia from 1964 to 1966. In 1973, Orth began her reporting career at Newsweek as an entertainment and lifestyle editor before moving on to become a contributing editor at Vogue. She began writing for Vanity Fair in 1993 and was nominated for a National Magazine Award for Reporting in 1994 for an article she wrote about Arianna and Michael Huffington.
