Maureen McCormick

  • Maureen McCormick is a film and television actress, who played Marcia Brady, the oldest sister in the 1970s sitcom The Brady Bunch. In October 2008, she published the autobiographical Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.   • Career

    At the age of eight, McCormick first appeared in a television commercial selling Barbie dolls in 1964. Two years later, she made two appearances as 'Young Endora' on the television series Bewitched. Then in 1969 came the role of a lifetime when she was cast as Marcia Brady on the iconic series The Brady Bunch. She has more than 60 acting credits on her resume, including several cameo appearances as herself or as a combination of herself and the Marcia Brady character. Other television series that she has appeared in include Happy Days, The Streets of San Francisco, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Teen Angel, and Son of the Beach. There have also been several reincarnations of the Brady Bunch, such as The Brady Kids, The Brady Bunch Hour, The Brady Girls Get Married, A Very Brady Christmas, and Bradymania: A Very Brady Special.
