Maura Tierney

Emmy award nominated actress Maura Tierney first debuted in the 1991 low budget film Dead Women in Lingerie which was was shot in only 24 days. She received stardom for her role in the series NewsRadio which she co-starred in from 1995–1999. The series also starred the later Phil Hartman, Dave Foley and Khandi Alexander. In 1997, Tierney starred alongside Jim Carrey in the comedy Liar Liar, which was highly successful. She currently plays Nurse Abby Lockhart in the Emmy Awards winning series ER, which she has been a part of since 1999. Tierney won the second season tournament of Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown.

Her most recent work includes the 2008 films Baby Mama and Semi Pro.
