Finland law enforcement officials believe that rampage killer Matti Juhani Saari very likely had contact with fellow multi-victim rampage murderer Pekka-Eric Auvinen, who shot 8 people before killing himself in November 2007. Saari killed 10 people and himself at a Kauhajoki vocational school in September, 2008. Evidence suggests that Saari had been planning the murders for up to six years before the rampage, possibly in contact with Auvinen before his death.
