Matthew Nolan, the brother of famed Christopher Nolan, director of The Dark Knight, was arrested in February 2009 by FBI agents. The authorities in Costa Rica allege that he was involved in the death of Robert C. Cohen from Florida, in 2005. Alleged Offense
According to reports, Nolan was involved with meeting Cohen in Costa Rico to discuss business. Instead Cohen was held in Costa Rica, while Nolan and alleged accomplice Douglas Mejia blackmailed Cohen's family. The demand was for money to repay an unpaid debt of $7 million that Cohen supposedly owed to an unnamed Florida man.
