NFL Career
Matt Spaeth was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games during his rookie season with the Steelers, starting in five of them. He had a total of five catches for 34 yards and three touchdowns his first year. Spaeth's first career catch was for a touchdown. In 2008, Spaeth played in all 16 regular-season games, starting 13 of them. He posted 17 receptions for 137 yards, but no touchdown catches.
