Matt Quinn

Matt Quinn was a correspondent for WFAA-TV in Texas. He was one of the victims killed in a series of Texas wildfires that swept the state in April 2009. The fires encroached on Quinn's home on April 9, 2009, killing both he and his wife Cathy. His son, Chris, was severely burned and transported to a Dallas hospital for treatment.

2009 Texas Wildfires

In April 2009 wildfires burned through Texas and Oklahoma killing at least three people in their paths. Due to high winds and dry conditions, the fires were not just isolated to Montague County, but sprung up in the areas of Forth worth and Amarillo as well.
