    After recording four independently released albums, Nathanson was signed with Universal after his cover of "Laid" was featured on the American Wedding soundtrack in 2003. But shortly after releasing Beneath These Fireworks that year with Universal, he was dropped from the label, and the album went unnoticed as a result.Official Site: Biography

    Songs off Nathanson's 2007 album Some Mad Hope have been prominently featured in various TV shows.
