Matt Mullenweg is the founding developer of the popular blogging software, WordPress and writes his personal blog, Photo Matt. He started developing Wordpress (formally called b2/cafelog in 2002. At the time Moveable Type was one of the most popular blogging platforms available. After Movable Type announced a price change which left many users scrambling to find a cheaper (or free solution). At this point Wordpress is believed to of received its "tipping point" and mass adoption. Today the software is used to host millions of blogs on the Internet. Mullenweg lives in San Francisco, California.
