Matt Logelin is a widower and single father whose wife Liz died of a blood clot the day after their first child, daughter Madeline, was born. He had been chronicling the pregnancy in his online blog to keep family and friends updated, but when his wife died the blog became a place for him to share his mourning. While Logelin knew anyone could read his blog, he did not think many would. It was really just a place for family and friends to continue to visit and see how he and Madeline were doing.
