  • NFL quarterback Matt Leinart plays for the Arizona Cardinals. Prior to playing in the NFL, Leinart helped the USC Trojans win two national championships and was selected for the 2004 Heisman Trophy.
  • On the Field

    Leinart played college football at USC, playing behind current NFL Star Carson Palmer his freshman year. Leinart would later lead the Trojans to the BCS national title in 2004, and runner up in 2005. Following the 2004 season, Leinart was selected for the Heisman Trophy, given to the most outstanding college football player.

    Leinart was drafted in 2006 by the Arizona Cardinals with the 10th overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft. He began his rookie year as backup to Kurt Warner, but still started 11 games that season.

    After alternating with Warner in 2007, Leinart suffered a fractured collarbone on October 10, which ended his season.

  • Off the Field

    Leinart made news in early April of 2008 after pictures surfaced on the internet of Leinart at an alcohol filled party with numerous women. One picture shows Leinart holding a beer bong, while a woman drinks from it. Many of the women pictured have been reported to be under the legal drinking age of 21. Also attending the party was friend, musician Nick Lachey.

    Leinart has rumored to be romantically linked to several women in the past including Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. He has one son, Cole Cameron Leinart, who was born on October 24, 2006.
