Matt Lanter

Ohio-born television and film actor Matt Lanter stars on The CW network remake of the 90's teen drama 90210. On the series, Lanter portrays bad boy Liam Court, who joined the show in the first season and was eventually made a regular character starting in the second season. Lanter has appeared on several other television shows including CSI, Monk, Grey's Anatomy and Heroes plus provided the voice for Anakin Skywalker in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.http://www.cwtv.com/shows/90210/cast/matt-lanter

Prior to acting, Lanter studied sports management at the University of Georgia. He grew up playing sports, including football, baseball, basketball, gymnastics and golf. Lanter also spent time with the Atlanta Braves organization in Major League Baseball as a batboy. Lanter began his entertainment career in 2004 when he appeared on the reality show Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model. While he didn't win the show, he did get his face noticed in the business and was soon cast in small roles on television shows and in movies such as Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius, 8 Simple Rules, Point Pleasant and Big Love. He saw a big break in 2005 when he received a recurring role on the television drama Commander in Chief. He went on to appear in recurring roles on Heroes and Shark, and was cast in the lead role in the 2008 parody film Disaster Movie. Despite being critically panned, the role further expanded Latner's exposure, leading to his role on 90210 and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
