Matt Kemp

Major League Baseball outfielder Matt Kemp currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Kemp was originally drafted on June 3, 2003 by the Los Angeles Dodgers. After spending his first few seasons with the Dodgers' minor league affiliates, Kemp was called up to make his MLB debut on May 28, 2006. He played a total of 52 games that season, hitting 30 runs and seven homeruns. Kemp finished the 2006 season with a .253 batting average.

Splitting the 2007 between the major and the minors, Kemp played 98 games with the Dodgers in 2007, hitting a .342 batting average.

Most recently, Kemp was selected for the Dodgers full roster for the start of the 2008 season.
