  • Hockey Career

    Greene was drafted 44th overall by the Oilers in the 2002 NHL entry draft. He attended the University of North Dakota and played with the Fighting Sioux for three seasons before beginning his professional career in 2005.

    Greene played for the Iowa Stars in the American Hockey League for the first part of the 2005-06 season and then finished the season with the Oilers, including their run to the Stanley Cup finals. They made it to the final game before losing the championship to the Carolina Hurricanes. Greene recorded a career high of ten points and 109 penalty minutes during the 2006-2007 season.
