Matt Frei is an award-winning journalist who has served as an international correspondent with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) since 1986. He is currently the host of BBC World News America and is also the BBC's official correspondent in Washington, D.C..

TED 2008 Hiccup
Frei hosted a debate during the 2008 Technology Entertainment Design Conference in Monterey, California. The debate was to be broadcast live on TV, but there were technical problems during Frei's opening statements.
