After graduating from high school, Drudge wandered out to Los Angeles, where he eventually secured a job at the CBS Studios gift shop.
  • The Drudge Report

After his father purchased him a computer in 1994, at the dawn of the Internet age, Drudge began distributing a newsletter containing mostly Hollywood gossip mixed with right-wing political stories. After being hired and fired by both Wired magazine and AOL, Drudge's website became a household word after he published a story claiming that Newsweek had killed a story alleging that President Bill Clinton had engaged in an affair with a White House intern.
  • Recent Activities

Drudge's website is reportedly one of the most consulted resources in newspaper newsrooms in the United States, as it often contains early warning of major breaking news stories. Many of the stories are contributed by online informants both inside and outside of journalism. Drudge himself is a secretive person who only occasionally gives interviews.
