Career
After spending six months recording a demo, the band caught the eye of Brett Gurewitz, president of Epitaph Records. Gurewitz produced the band's 2003 EP West For Wishing and Matchbook Romance joined The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Avenged Sevenfold and other bands on the Warped Tour. The tour helped Matchbook Romance gain exposure to new fans as well as to the other bands. Subsequently, Yellowcard and The Ataris both hired Matchbook Romance as a supporting act on their tours.
