  • The Masters is a professional golf tournament held every April in Augusta, Georgia. It is considered the first of the four major golf tournaments held each year, along with the United States Open, the British Open, and the PGA Championship.

    After holding the Masters Par 3 one-day tournament on Wednesday, the four-day official event began with the honorary opening tee shot, a tradition since 1963. Arnold Palmer did the honors in 2009 for a third straight year.

  • 2009 Results

    The 2009 Masters tournament took place from April 8-12, 2009. Tim Clark won the Masters Par 3 Tournament. A three-way tie between Angel Cabrera, Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry led to a sudden-death playoff. After two playoff rounds, Angel Cabrera won the tournament.
