The University of Maryland men's basketball team team plays college basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Terrapins, also commonly referred to as "The Terps", have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 22 times. They've qualified for the Final Four twice, and won their only national championship in 2002. They've also won 4 ACC regular season titles and 3 ACC Tournament championships.
