Mary McDonnell

Mary McDonnell is an actress who plays the role of President Laura Roslin in the television drama series Battlestar Galactica. McDonnell was cast as Beverly Miller in Jimmy Nolan, a drama film released in 2009. Also in 2009 McDonnell appeared in a special guest appearance as Capt. Sharon Raydor, a police captain in the Force Investigation Division, who butts heads with Kyra Sedgwick's character, in the fifth season of the TNT drama The Closer. It has been confirmed McDonnell will reprise her role as a recurring character in 2010.
